Tommy Nevill, Chef and Co-Founder of NEV’S Coast to Coast Barbeque has been studying and working towards this dream all his life. His drive for perfection is every bit of a reality when you get face to face with NEV’S Barbeque.

Tom studied at Disney Culinary Institute, where his passion for the restaurant industry began. In 2003 he continued his education at The Florida State University, Dedman School of Hospitality where he received his bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management. While still finishing exams he was recruited by the number one steakhouse in Texas (voted by Texas Monthly) Pappas Bros. Steakhouse for a management position.

There he learned the importance of the GUEST and the family that is created through your staff. In 2006 he met Co-Founder Marc Veilleux and instantly knew that he was someone genuine with a passion for the industry. After 2 years with Pappas Bros Tommy ventured back into the kitchen as the Executive Chef for Silver Fox Steakhouse where he learned the value of a community and the relationships that grow from a personal dining experience. Growing up in the south with Co-Founder Pete Brown barbeque was a weekly family event, that the three of them now enjoy on a daily basis. 

 After visiting over 50 BBQ restaurants to study and observe the true techniques of Texas Barbeque Tom, Marc, and Pete then traveled to Kansas City, Memphis, and the Carolina’s to see how different BBQ could be.  They have all been enjoying BBQ for some time now and
it only seemed natural to open a 4 STAR BBQ restaurant with a casual dining experience and extend our thanks to the community we grew up in, Orlando, FL.

This is not your average BBQ.  You can enjoy Barbeque from the four major regions in the United States:  The Carolina’s, Texas, Memphis, and Kansas City.  We have learned that of all the BBQ restaurants we have visited they all have one thing in common, everybody’s recipe is “THE BEST”, so why not have the best of all of them.
